Broken Hill City Aquatic Centre offers a wide variety of aquatic facilities, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy year-round or seasonally over the summer.
50m outdoor Pool
Our eight-lane 50-metre pool is a big hit with competition swimmers, fitness swimmers, school groups and swimming clubs.
25m Indoor pool
Our heated 25-metre indoor pool offers a comfortable space for both recreational and lap swimming all year round. With accessible entry, it’s designed to support swimmers of all ages and abilities across the community.
Program pool
Specifically catering for beginner and intermediate swimmers, this dedicated pool will allow tuition to all ages and abilities making learning to swim a great experience.
Hydrotherapy pool
The hydrotherapy pool is heated to a warmer temperature than our other pools. This pool is designed to provide a relaxing experience and can be used for rehabilitation.
Outdoor Toddler Pool
Our toddler pool is the perfect place to entertain little ones on warm summer days.
Water Playground and Slides
Our outdoor water playground and slides are a thrill for visitors in the summer months! Guests climb to the top of the waterslide tower, before twisting down the slide to splash into a 1m deep pool at the end.
Swimwear Policy
Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times to maintain a clean, safe and inviting environment for all our patrons. Clothing, other than swimwear, can create problems with water clarity, pool disinfectant and our water filtration systems.
